shooting happened yesterday evening. bart police shut down the parking lot for a time to look for clues but service was not interrupted. a witness say that she heard gunshots from the walls. >> when i was going back up the steps to catch the bus go home that is where the man's body was set. a woman was tried to resuscitate him. she may be knew him and she was crying. i also started to cry. >> this is the second shooting at a bart station and police stated that there is on the one person that they are looking for and they do not have a motive. >> a south bay teacher is under suicide watch this morning after being arrested on child pornography charges. 44 year-old nathan forstell attempted suicide after being released from

jail. police said they found about a thousand images of children some as young as four years old on his home computer. forstell works as a physical education teacher at martin luther king elementary and seaside. now, the neighborhood watch cap and is passing out fliers to let the residents know that there is an alleged predator in the area. >> he has been out for some time with his camera video taping. nobody has ever said anything to him. >> forstell has also worked as a substitute teacher in san jose's alum rock district. police say that they have no reason to believe that the suspect took photos or videos of his students. >> we're also fall on a

developing story out of east bay where hundreds of waste management workers at facilities in oakland, san leandro, hayward and livermore have decided to strike this morning. kron4 jackies sissel joins us live from san leandro more. >> the warehouse workers union is out there and about 150 people worked at this site. they are protesting at three different sites. this is a sight in oakland and this is from abc 7. more workers are at this second aside and they are protesting the the union. they stated that they have an unfair labor practices. they stated that they are threatening their

yesterday, hundreds of students, faculty and staff rallied at the civic center plaza. this is a video on youtube. they want more input on what they say is a lack of transparency on how the school is addressing their problems. the accreditation commission has cited the school for more than a dozen problems including excessive faculty costs. >> alameda teachers have approved a new contract settlement. the deal includes a 4.5 percent salary increase over two years. the potential for more in the 2014-2015 school year. the teachers say that they were among the lowest paid in alameda county. they're all so happy that the school calendar has been
